The Cook is responsible for preparing meals, delivering meals to the classroom, receiving food and non-food supplies, and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and the food storage areas in accordance with the federal, state, and local health regulations, and licensing codes. Directs preparation of nutritious meals that meet Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) “Meal Pattern” requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

1. High Scholl Diploma or GED

2. One year (1) work experience as an institutional cook involving food preparation/service for groups of one hundred (100) or more

3. Supervisory experience

4. Proficient computer skills

5. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Salary – This is a Non-Exempt position $14.10 -$17.62 hourly depending on qualifications (related experience, education, training, etc.)

We offer a 4-day work week (Monday – Thursday)
