Apply onlineThe Family and Community Engagement Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and administering the Family and Community Partnership content area of the Head Start program in such a way as to ensure quality as defined by the Head Start Performance Standards. The Family and Community Engagement Manager serves as a resource and advocate for Head Start Families; acts as a liaison between the center and home, effectively explaining the program goals and operation. In addition, assists families in realizing their goals of self-sufficiency and their role in relation to their children’s development and learning through the comprehensive support provided through Head Start.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development, Social Services, Human Relations, Social Science, Psychology or related field AND

Two (2) years experience in early childhood, social work, parent education family studies, health, or related field.

Three (3) years of supervisory experience.

Must be proficient in computer skills including knowledge of a word processing program and a spreadsheet program.
Salary – This is an Exempt position $ 57,096 – $71,379 Annually.
